Victor Sun 16de23d0d5 HV: move CONFIG_MAX_VM_NUM to vm configurations
Now the MAX supported VM number is defined explicitly for each scenario,
so move this config from Kconfig to VM configuration.

Min Lim 342d29eea8 profiling: fix the system freeze issue when running profiling tool
The msr load/restore during vmexit/vmentry is enabled in HV by
default. The profiling has assumption that it's only user for this
feature, which could overwrite of HV default setting.

This fix combine the msr load list for vmexit when profiling.

Min Lim ec4dd2284c profiling: enable to capture dropped samples while buffering
Since the profiling utilizes the limited size of buffer to capture
sample data, dropping samples could happen while collecting data
if data is generated faster than flushing by consumer. Capturing
the dropped sample info is critical to understand how much the data
is reliable to use.

To capture the information, the new hypercall "PROFILING_GET_STATUS"
is introduced.

Min Lim 9c27ed1090 profiling: fix the profiling tool crash by page faults
Profiling tools are broken, which cause page faults during collection.
The issue happens by enabling SMAP recently. Therefore,
we use stac() and clac() to allow access to buffers allocated by guest.

Xiangyang Wu 99586e32cc HV:treewide:rename vm data structure
For data structure types "struct vm", its name is identical
with variable name in the same scope. This is a MISRA C violation.

Naming convention rule:If the data structure type is used by multi
modules, its corresponding logic resource is exposed to external
components (such as SOS, UOS), and its name meaning is simplistic
(such as vcpu, vm), its name needs prefix "acrn_".

The following udpates are made:
struct vm *vm-->struct acrn_vm *vm

Chinthapally, Manisha cab93c053a HV:Added SBuf support to copy samples generated to guest.
sbuf.h:
Added new shared buffer types for SEP and SOCWATCH

profiling.c
sbuf_next_ptr - returns address of next available buffer

profiling_sbuf_put_variable:
This function allows to write data of variable size into shared buffer.

profiling_generate_data:
Read profiling data and transfer to SOS
Drops transfer of profiling data if sbuf is full/insufficient and log it

Chinthapally, Manisha fc8f9d792c HV:Added support to perform MSR operation on all cpus
MSR operations are directly done based on physical cpu's

profiling_handle_msrops:
Per cpu function, performs the MSR operations (Read, Read clear,Write)
For SOCWATCH/ power tool, generates MSR samples.

profiling_msr_ops_all_cpus :
Receives required information for MSR operations from guest,
	SMP calls profiling_handle_msrops,
Copies the information collected to guest

profiling_set_control:
Receives tool control information from guest and sets control switches accordingly,
    tool control information includes:
         type - sep/socwatch
         action - Start/stop
feature - What to collect(core/lbr/vm switch)
This function provides interface to start and stop profiling data collection

profiling_start_pmu:
Initialize sep state and enable PMU counters
    SMP calls profiling_enable_pmu

profiling_stop_pmu:
Reset sep state and Disable all the PMU counters
    SMP calls profiling_disable_pmu

profiling_enable_pmu:
Enable all the Performance Monitoring Control registers.
Unmask LAPIC entry for PMC register to enable performance monitoring
Walk through the entries and write to PMU control regiesters

This patch adds support to sep/socwatch profiling
     Adds 2 new files include/arch/x86/profiling.h and arch/x86/profiling.c
which contains most of the implementation for profiling, most of the functions
in profiling.c have dummy implementation and will be implemented in next patches

     a. cpu.c, Initial profiling setup is done as part of bsp_boot_post
  and cpu_secondary_post flow
     b. vmcall.c, New ioctl is added for performing profiling related
  operations in vmcall_vmexit_handler
	ioctl - HC_PROFILING_OPS
        function - hcall_profiling_ops()
     c. common/hypercall.c, hcall_profiling_ops() implementation.
     d. hv_main.c, In vcpu_thread calling profiling related functions
  to save vm context
     e. acrn_hv_defs.h, list all the profiling command types
