The SAME70-XPLD board comes with an EEPROM that holds the MAC address
to be used with its Ethernet interface. Enable that feature by
default, so the application doesn't have to.

Move from a Kconfig to select/initialize the MAC address to using the
"local-mac-address" property in devicetree. If the property is set the
drivers will initialize the mac-address from the devicetree (unless the
mac address is all 0's). The MAC address might get overwritten by
either a driver specific means or by the setting of
"zephyr,random-mac-address" in the devicetree.

Convert i2s_sam_ssc driver to utilize devicetree. We replace Kconfig
options for specifying the DMA configuration (channel, DMA device name)
with getting that from devicetree. We also get pincfg from devicetree,
however we still have Kconfig sybmols to specify if the RF or RK pin is
enabled.

Reworked spi_sam driver to utilize new DT_INST macros as part of
this rework we also now get pin ctrl/mux configuration information
from the device tree instead of via Kconfig and defines in soc_pinmap.h
We remove defines from dts_fixup.h and soc_pinmap.h and associated
Kconfig symbols that are no longer needed due to getting all that
information from devicetree.

Same deal as in commit eddd98f ("kconfig: Replace some single-symbol
'if's with 'depends on'"), for all symbols defined within defconfig
files. See that commit for an explanation.
Maybe 'if's were used originally to mirror the 'if's in the main Kconfig
files, and then it got copied around by people assuming 'if' must work
differently from 'depends on'. It doesn't match in every spot at least.
Better to keep it simple and just consistently use 'depends on' when
it's a single symbol/choice I think. Helps reinforce that 'if' isn't
magic too.
Verified by printing all Kconfig menu nodes (symbols, choices, menus,
etc.) before and after the change and diffing (should show no
difference).

The symbol SPI_SAME70_PORT_0_PIN_CS3 was defined without a type.
A non-whitelisted Kconfig warning is generated which results on a
configuration error. This associate the bool type to symbol.

find cases where the type is given separately as e.g.

Motivation (from a note in
https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/guides/kconfig/index.html):
For a symbol defined in multiple locations (e.g., in a
Kconfig.defconfig file in Zephyr), it is best to only give the
symbol type for the "base" definition of the symbol, and to use
'default' (instead of 'def_<type>' value) for the remaining
definitions. That way, if the base definition of the symbol is
removed, the symbol ends up without a type, which generates a
warning that points to the other definitions. That makes the extra
definitions easier to discover and remove.
It's also nice if 'def_bool' and the like turn into a semi-reliable flag
that the symbol is only defined in Kconfig.defconfig files. That might
be a sign that things could be cleaned up.
Will do a separate pass later to remove some symbols only defined in
Kconfig.defconfig files.

introduced since then.
Some symbols, like ALTERA_AVALON_PIO, are only defined in
Kconfig.defconfig files, and so need the def_bool.
Motivation (from the note at the end of
guides/kconfig/index.html#common-shorthands):
For a symbol defined in multiple locations (e.g., in a Kconfig.defconfig

Move to using Kconfig (like other Atmel SAM drivers do) to specify the
pinmux setting for SAMe70 SoCs. Updated the sam_e70_xplained board to
set the default in Kconfig.defconfig instead of via board.h

This can help find unused symbols. Those end up without a type if
'default' is used instead of 'def_bool', which generates a warning.
Search for "Kconfig.defconfig" in
https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/application/kconfig-tips.html for
a longer explanation.
Keep the 'def_bool' for the following symbols, which seem to be
deliberately defined only in Kconfig.defconfig files:

In preparation for introducing a warning.
Unquoted string defaults work through a quirk of Kconfig (undefined
symbols get their name as their string value), but look confusing. It's
done inconsistently now too.

As we have E70 ethernet driver enabled, we need to enable the
generic ethernet L2 driver too so that the ethernet is actually
useful.
