Ulf Magnusson 7fdb525754 kconfig: Use 'default' instead of 'def_bool' in Kconfig.defconfig files
Same deal as in commit 4638652214 ("Kconfig: Use 'default' instead of
'def_bool' in Kconfig.defconfig files"), fixing new stuff that got
introduced since then.

Some symbols, like ALTERA_AVALON_PIO, are only defined in
Kconfig.defconfig files, and so need the def_bool.

Motivation (from the note at the end of
guides/kconfig/index.html#common-shorthands):

For a symbol defined in multiple locations (e.g., in a Kconfig.defconfig
file in Zephyr), it is best to only give the symbol type for the "base"
definition of the symbol, and to use 'default' (instead of 'def_<type>'
value) for the remaining definitions. That way, if the base definition
of the symbol is removed, the symbol ends up without a type, which
generates a warning that points to the other definitions. That makes the
extra definitions easier to discover and remove.

Anas Nashif 3ae52624ff license: cleanup: add SPDX Apache-2.0 license identifier
Update the files which contain no license information with the
'Apache-2.0' SPDX license identifier.  Many source files in the tree are
missing licensing information, which makes it harder for compliance
tools to determine the correct license.

By default all files without license information are under the default
license of Zephyr, which is Apache version 2.

Kumar Gala aa15ae94a9 soc: riscv32: openisa_rv32m1: Link .srodata section
Apply a similar fix to commit 0289a410ba
to the openisa_rv32m1 linker script for handling .srodata sections.

Otherwise we get oprhan read-only data section.  Fix this by adding
the .srodata section to the RISC-V linker script.

Patrik Flykt 4344e27c26 all: Update reserved function names
Update reserved function names starting with one underscore, replacing
them as follows:
   '_k_' with 'z_'
   '_K_' with 'Z_'
   '_handler_' with 'z_handl_'
   '_Cstart' with 'z_cstart'
   '_Swap' with 'z_swap'

This renaming is done on both global and those static function names
in kernel/include and include/. Other static function names in kernel/
are renamed by removing the leading underscore. Other function names
not starting with any prefix listed above are renamed starting with
a 'z_' or 'Z_' prefix.

Function names starting with two or three leading underscores are not
automatcally renamed since these names will collide with the variants
with two or three leading underscores.

Various generator scripts have also been updated as well as perf,
linker and usb files. These are
   drivers/serial/uart_handlers.c
   include/linker/kobject-text.ld
   kernel/include/syscall_handler.h
   scripts/gen_kobject_list.py
   scripts/gen_syscall_header.py

Kumar Gala 128d2e2bd1 soc: riscv32: openisa_rv32m1: Support Zephyr toolchain
The 0.10 version of the Zephyr toolchain supports building on the
openisa_rv32m1 SoC.  So if the ZEPHYR_TOOLCHAIN_VARIANT is 'zephyr'
than select RISCV_GENERIC_TOOLCHAIN.

Marti Bolivar 58d8afb476 interrupt_controller: RV32M1: add intmux driver / DT bindings
Add a level 2 interrupt controller for the RV32M1 SoC. This uses the
INTMUX peripheral.

As a first customer, convert the timer driver over to using this,
adding nodes for the LPTMR peripherals. This lets users select the
timer instance they want to use, and what intmux channel they want to
route its interrupt to, using DT overlays.

Marti Bolivar 502d306630 soc: riscv32: add RV32M1 SoC as openisa_rv32m1
The OpenISA RV32M1 SoC has four CPU cores. Two of these are RISC-V
32-bit cores, which are named "RI5CY" and "ZERO-RISCY". (The other two
cores are ARM Cortex-M0+ and -M4.) This patch adds basic SoC
enablement for the RISC-V cores:

- basic dtsi, to be extended as additional drivers are added
- SoC definition in soc/riscv32/openisa_rv32m1 for RI5CY / ZERO-RISCY
- system timer driver for RI5CY, based on LPTMR0 peripheral

The timer driver will be generalized a bit soon once proper
multi-level interrupt support is available.

Emphasis is on supporting the RI5CY core as the more capable of the
two; the ZERO-RISCY SoC definitions are a good starting point, but
additional work setting up a dtsi and initial drivers is needed to
support that core.

Marti Bolivar f4c3163d3b arch: riscv32: provide a general mechanism for saving SoC context
RISC-V permits myriad extensions to the ISA, any of which may imply
additional context that must be saved and restored on ISR entry and
exit. The current in-tree example is the Pulpino core, which has extra
registers used by ISA extensions for running loops that shouldn't get
clobbered by an ISR.

This is currently supported by including pulpino-specific definitions
in the generic architecture code. This works, but it's a bit inelegant
and is something of a layering violation. A more generic mechanism is
required to support other RISC-V SoCs with similar requirements
without cluttering the arch code too much.

Provide that by extending the semantics of the existing
CONFIG_RISCV_SOC_CONTEXT_SAVE option to allow other SoCs to allocate
space for saving and restoring their own state, promoting the
currently pulpino-specific __soc_save_context / __soc_restore_context
routines to a RISC-V arch API.

The cost of making this generic is two more instructions in each ISR
to pass the SoC specific context to these routines in a0 rather than
just assuming the stack points to the right place. This is minimal,
and should have been done anyway to keep with the ABI.

As a first (and currently only in-tree) customer, convert the Pulpino
SoC code to this new mechanism.

Andrzej Głąbek 20202902f2 dts_fixups: Use DT_ prefix in all defined labels not related to Kconfig
These changes were obtained by running a script  created by
Ulf Magnusson <Ulf.Magnusson@nordicsemi.no> for the following
specification:

1. Read the contents of all dts_fixup.h files in Zephyr
2. Check the left-hand side of the #define macros (i.e. the X in
   #define X Y)
3. Check if that name is also the name of a Kconfig option
   3.a If it is, then do nothing
   3.b If it is not, then replace CONFIG_ with DT_ or add DT_ if it
       has neither of these two prefixes
4. Replace the use of the changed #define in the code itself
   (.c, .h, .ld)

Additionally, some tweaks had to be added to this script to catch some
of the macros used in the code in a parameterized form, e.g.:
- CONFIG_GPIO_STM32_GPIO##__SUFFIX##_BASE_ADDRESS
- CONFIG_UART_##idx##_TX_PIN
- I2C_SBCON_##_num##_BASE_ADDR
and to prevent adding DT_ prefix to the following symbols:
- FLASH_START
- FLASH_SIZE
- SRAM_START
- SRAM_SIZE
- _ROM_ADDR
- _ROM_SIZE
- _RAM_ADDR
- _RAM_SIZE
which are surprisingly also defined in some dts_fixup.h files.

Finally, some manual corrections had to be done as well:
- name##_IRQ -> DT_##name##_IRQ in uart_stm32.c

Andrzej Głąbek f39ba7230d dts_fixups: Update labels generated from DTS with DT_ prefix
All labels containing "_<8-hex-digits>_" or "16550_<3or6-hex-digits>_"
in their names, assumed to be generated by the extracting script,
are updated with the DT_ prefix, to reflect the recent changes made
to the script.

Sebastian Bøe 8eb734cd82 DT: Rename from dts.fixup to dts_fixup.h
The Zephyr configuration system uses many different files in many
different formats. It makes it a lot easier for users to understand
what these files do if when we use the correct file extensions.

To this end we rename the dts.fixup files to the correct file
extension '.h'.

This is a breaking change for out-of-tree fixup files. Such files will
be detected and given an appropriate error message.
